1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Use apply to the Orthodox Religious Calendar mobile application (also displayed as „Православен Верски Календар“, „Православни Верски Календар“ or „Православен Църковен Календар“ depending on language). The app is provided by Darko Petkovski ("we", "us" or "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the applicable app-store terms.
2. The service
The app provides an Orthodox calendar, information about holidays and saints, prayers, fasting information, local holiday reminders and related content. The content is provided for general informational and devotional use. Dates, observances and practices may differ between churches, dioceses, jurisdictions and calendar traditions. For authoritative religious guidance, consult your church or clergy.
3. Auto-renewable subscriptions
The app may offer the following monthly auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Light Monthly — a one-month subscription that removes advertising and supports continued development.
- Premium Monthly — a one-month subscription that removes advertising and may include additional premium benefits shown in the app.
The exact localized title, benefits and price are displayed in the app before purchase and are obtained from Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account when the purchase is confirmed. A subscription renews automatically for another monthly period unless you cancel it through your store account before renewal. For Apple subscriptions, cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Manage or cancel an Apple subscription at Apple Subscriptions. Android users can manage subscriptions in Google Play.
4. One-time purchase and restoration
The app may also offer a One-time Support purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Eligible purchases can be restored using the Restore Purchase option. Billing, refunds and payment disputes are handled by the store through which the purchase was made, subject to that store's rules and applicable law.
5. Advertising and third-party services
The free experience may display advertising supplied by Google AdMob. The app also uses services supplied by Apple, Google, Firebase and GitHub for purchases, analytics, hosting and delivery of calendar content. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. 6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, bypass purchase controls, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, or use it in violation of law or third-party rights.
7. Intellectual property and content rights
The app's software, design and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party religious texts, images, names and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used subject to applicable rights and permissions. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, correct, suspend or discontinue parts of the app when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that every feature or item of content will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, legal requirements or third-party services change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
